I’m taking my boys to this on Saturday, here in Dallas. What’s the deal with the hot wheels in the bin ? Like what were you looking for in there? And what was the deal with the receipt and receiving the cool water bottle and other goodies?

I like the yellow spectraflame 70 Boss 302 better but this is my second favorite RLC/ Mattel Creations type releases of the year. I like collecting this casting.

this year has the best hotwheels, no cap. literally, rlcs are less common to have additive engine/ removable details. like right now, even mini gt might have a hard time due to hotwheels engine / interior added details

I own a 92 typhoon. Mine was originally white grey but was repainted white white. Back when small suvs were the craze. Mine is number 2001. Those wheels are nice. Mine have the original turbine wheels. I have video of new headlights on my channel.

I've seen them all. But only got 1-3 plus the lethal diesel, fish'd and chip'd, dune a soar and cruise bruiser. They all look really great for mystery models!

I have two of the basics. I find 5:16 it to be interesting. However, for myself, that is draw the libe. Buying premium ones like is not for me. But for those that enjoy buying like, that is great. In can live without the added details included with the package. As for the car,I am glad matchbox does cars like this.

Nice set with no duds or extreme scalp cars. I went to several stores right after they showed up and saw plenty of each car at each store.

Glad I got the Chevy from Wheel Collectors since I could not find it at any of the local Walmart and Target stores! I was surprised that I stumbled upon some Matchbox Collectors at Walmart the other day! It has been a very long time since I found new Matchbox Collectors at all!

Hi sorry for the long read ahead, huge 007 fan here. The Aston Martin V8 is a first cast for Hot Wheels. Which is wild considering how long it has been around. What’s interesting is that they chose to include the sunroof on this car because it does not have one in this particular film. To understand why the car had a sunroof at all you have to go back to the first appearance of the V8 in the 007 franchise: The Living Daylights. We are first introduced to it at the start of the second act where 007 is seen driving the V8 Volante, the convertible version of the V8. As mentioned by Brian, this was because Aston Martin did not initially have a hard top available for shooting, so the studio used the Chairman of Aston Martin’s personal car. What’s extra interesting is that this is not the first time the 007 franchise has chosen a car from Aston Martin that wasn’t ready to be shown off.* After sometime into filming, the studio finally got their hands on the V8 Vantages from Aston Martin. However, in their rush to film with the car they had available, they created a teeny plot hole. The film moves location to the Czech/Austrian Alps where we see need for a warmer car: the V8 Vantage. According to the plot, the convertible at the beginning of the film is meant to be the same as the hard top you see later on. As the second act inches closer to its climax we see Q ‘winterizing’ the car and installing a hard top with sunroof. So the film makers needed to make a special version of the V8 combining elements of the Vantage and the Volante. This is why it is sometimes referred to as the Vantage/Volante on reference guides and merchandise for the original film and likely why Hot Wheels chose to simply call it the Aston Martin V8. Anyways I’m very happy Hot Wheels has finally made the car, it’s one of my all time favourite 007 rides that didn’t get enough love merchandise wise. Corgi made one in 1/36 with pop out skis and Johnny Lightning made it in 1/64. I think this one from Hot Wheels is the best version. My only nitpick is that I would have liked to see it sold as The Living Daylights car with some TLD packaging, detachable skis, and rockets. *(One of the original Aston Martin DB5s used in Goldfinger was actually a late production DB4 which was the the DB5 prototype. You can tell which car is the prototype by the signal lights near the side vents) *Another fun fact about this car is that one of its gadgets was in the 007 Racing game for PS1, but the V8 was not in the game.

The Lykan it´s no the same that the Premium.... but it´s near. The Premium have a black patina that i never understand: It´s a brand new sport car!, why this "old style" patina?. The silver one... it´s better and more, and more faster on track (near to 80 gr. and MM5 rims: a ROCKET !!!!). Thanks Bro!!!.

I went to the Legends Tour event as well. I got there about 5:45am. I thought I saw you in line. I had one friend at the very front of the line you were in and he was able to pull a Firebird super. When they annouced that all the premiums were going to be in the Diecast aisle, I moved to that line was like 12th in line. That line had the transports (they only had 16 total), the zamac sets and then seperate dump bin just filled with premiums. I got the last transport and one Zamac truck set and while I was dump bin I pulled two Corolla Chases. I thought it was a good event and I watched your previous video and it really helped. Keep up the great content! Hopefully when I'm in St. Louis I'll run into ya.
